Social Thinking / Social Communication Groups
Now Accepting Registrations for Our Final Group Session – Beginning October 19, 2026
There’s still time to join us!
The Tucson Alliance for Autism (TAFA) is currently accepting registrations for our upcoming Social Thinking/Social Communication Groups, beginning the week of October 19, 2026.
This will be our final group session as TAFA prepares to transition to a new chapter in 2027. While our direct services will be coming to an end, our commitment to supporting individuals with autism and their families throughout Southern Arizona remains as strong as ever.
We encourage families who have been considering our groups to take advantage of this final opportunity to participate in a program that has been an important part of TAFA’s mission for many years.
About Our Social Thinking / Social Communication Groups
Our Social Thinking/Social Communication Groups help participants develop the skills needed to navigate everyday social interactions, build meaningful relationships, and communicate more effectively.
Facilitated by licensed, certified professionals, our groups provide a supportive environment where participants can explore perspective-taking (understanding another person’s point of view), strengthen communication skills, and develop strategies for navigating social situations.
